As long as it’s openly known as such I don’t see why not.
You’d be surprised how many people roll up to car events in “their” rentals, desperate for attention.

The Viper (also F430) is my dream car. I’d love to be able to drive one for a day with one of my best friends for the rally. We were at LeMans in 2016, Nurburgring 24hr in 2015, DTM races at Hockenheim, roadtripped to Rome for my 22nd birthday, and so much other awesome stuff through the years. I think it’d be a cool surprise and Oppo shouldn’t be fooled into thinking I have a Viper.

As a not organizer, I would say yes but you have to forfeit vehicle related points if there are any.
I guess that would be a fair compromise.

Vipers can also be affordable, depending on condition. If it’s your dream car, I highly recommend owning one, even if it for a short time.

Have you used Turo extensively? What are your thoughts about insurance coverage? Especially when it comes to an exotic and usage in something like a rally, might be a bit of an issue?
I really want to use Turo for a family trip coming up in October where I don’t want to be stuck driving a soul crushing rental for a week…but I know Geico doesn’t cover Turo, not sure about my credit card (I have Chase Sapphire Preferred which does offer primary coverage for rentals, but don’t know if services like Turo are included there), and Turo’s own protection plans can get pretty pricey.
